We conducted a user survey to gain a better understanding of millennials' news habits. 29 individuals age 22 – 35 answered the survey. Their sharing was essential for us to define the problems.
Interests are different
We got 29 totally different answers when asking about the news topics they follow. We found out that users tend to read the relevant news based on their interests.
Moments are limited
Most of the users tend to check the news in their free time while these moments are usually too limited for them to digest long articles or consume more news.
Sources are untrustworthy
There are big news sources that are less trusted and seemingly more biased than ever.
Diverse Topics
Enable users to choose the topics they want to follow so they can keep up with the latest of what they are interested in.
Quick Consumption
Encourage users to digest as much content in as short a time as possible in their free time.
